Both stations share studios at the 22nd floor, Strata 2000 Bldg., F. Ortigas Jr. Road (formerly Emerald Avenue), Ortigas Center, Pasig, while DZOZ-DTV's transmitter is located at Crestview Heights Subdivision, Barangay San Roque, Antipolo, Rizal.
Channel History[]
- Main article: DZOE-TV
Before 2006, ZOE Broadcasting Network used to broadcast on VHF Channel 11 as an independent station for the Metro Manila area, after being awarded from its previous owner Delta Broadcasting System in 1998 following a settlement between the two parties. By 2005, ZOE Broadcasting agreed to lease the entire airtime of ZOE-TV Channel 11 to Citynet Network Marketing and Productions, Inc., a subsidiary of GMA Network, Inc., in exchange of airing ZOE TV's in-house progams to GMA's schedule, as well as an upgraded transmitter facility installed at the GMA Tower of Power site in Quezon City. GMA/Citynet would later terminate its agreement by June 4, 2019, with Channel 11 shutting down the following day, after the former's 2018 financial report showed increased lease payments to ZOE. Channel 11 would later reactivate its transmitter from Antipolo in June 2020, and became the default terrestrial channel of ABS-CBN programming, due to the latter's expiration of its terrestrial asset franchise a month earlier; the station currently airs as A2Z since October 2020.
ZOE Broadcasting began its test broadcast in UHF Channel 33 on May 1, 2006. At that time, it with its airing of job opening program Future Finder on limited broadcast hours in preparation for a relaunch of DZOZ-TV's new branding on November 27, 2006. On that day, after the series of test broadcasts, it began broadcasting, then under a blocktime agreement between ZOE and Makati-based Estima, Inc. The result of the deal was student-oriented channel UniversiTV. The channel has proven to be a hub for college and university students, catering them with evening and overnight programs everyday. By that time, it operated from 4 pm to 8 am the following day, but eventually retracted its broadcast hours until 4 am during its last few months of airing.
However, on March 10, 2008, UniversiTV ceased its agreement with Channel 33, possibly due to poor ratings and lack of advertisers' support and the same day, it reverted into ZOE TV, the television arm of Jesus is Lord Church led by Eddie Villanueva. This made ZOE TV left with almost no programming to offer along with the return of the old ZOE TV station ID from 1998 until 2005 and a corporate slogan and motto Give Love, Celebrate Life, which airs mostly religious, news and public affairs and infomercial programs, Diyos at Bayan, Adyenda, Jesus the Healer, PJM Forum and Midnight Prayer Helps, along with This New Life, returned to its programming lineup, which are also aired on DZOE-TV.
On September 15, 2008, the new management of ZOE Broadcasting Network led by the former station manager of KY 91.5, 99.5 RT and RJTV himself Jonathan "JJ Sparx" Jabson acquired and upgraded Channel 33's 30 kW transmitter tower station in Antipolo City, the master control facility of the Ortigas Center studios and transmitter operations for the station and production operations of ZOE TV 33 to form the rebranding of Channel 33 as ZTV 33 (ZOE Television 33), which was branded and launched on October 13, 2008 as Channel 33 regained its programming approach by airing entertainment programming in the evening, children's programming, a weekday morning TeleRadyo-formatted news program and its primetime news and public affairs programs under ZTV 33 brand as a tie-up of ZOE TV, thus, the station adopted its slogan Your Internactive TV Station. Since then, Jabson became ZTV station manager. The interactive TV station aims to introduce the station to a larger demographic range of audience. Since then, Jabson became ZTV station manager. ZOE TV's Diyos at Bayan, Adyenda, Jesus the Healer, PJM Forum, Midnight Prayer Helps, Legal Forum, This New Life, Superbook and The Flying House were retained and integrated to ZTV's programming. UniversiTV on the other hand, was then relaunched as a Pay TV channel via satellite and cable operators, but totally ceased operations by 2010.[1]
On March 1, 2011, (a day after the network's sister station Channel 11 was relaunched as GMA News TV, seen on Channel 27 until 2021; which is now known as GTV), Channel 33 was rebranded as Light TV 33, introducing new programs produced by ZOE, and at the same time, the network launched its flagship newscast entitled News Light. Soon, Channel 33 regained all of its programming with programs mostly dedicated to religious formats. On March 31, 2014, Light TV 33 was renamed as Light Network, launched its refreshed logo, and had a new slogan called "Experience Light", while retaining the slogan "Kaibigan Mo" (Your Friend).
On October 13, 2014, ZTV 33 launched its digital broadcast on ISDB-T.
On February 12, 2018, Light Network was renamed back as Light TV with its new slogan "God's Channel of Blessings". At the same time, the channel started live broadcasts of JIL Worship Services during Sunday mornings (simulcast via A2Z Channel 11 since November 1, 2020) and Jesus the Healer Friday Night Healing Services.[2]
In October 1, 2018, ZTV 33 relaunched as ZTV with its new gold logo, just like ZOE TV, which has the same golden color, and station ID to reflect the change, in line with the network's celebration of its 10th anniversary with a new journey serving God and the Filipino people, the network is the best type of programming and bring glory to the Lord above and focuses in music, entertainment, news and public affairs, lifestyle, children and educational, sports and religious programs.
On March 4, 2019, Light TV has launched the new radio-on-television format show Light TV Radio which aired Daylight Devotions, News Light sa Umaga, and Bangon na Pilipinas. Then followed by the Edge TV. These programs are streamed online via Light TV Facebook Page, and simulcast on DZJV 1458 kHz in Laguna and DWZB 91.1 FM in Palawan, while Edge TV is also streamed online through their Facebook page. But on October 5, 2019, since UCAPehan has successfully launch on Light TV, the station signs on at 9:00 am every Saturday, but on January 4, 2020, it retracted its Saturday hours of operations from 12:00nn to 11:00pm, a week after the last airing of UCAPehan on December 28, 2019.
Return to independent broadcasting (2022–present)[]
In July 2, 2022, Bro. Eddie Villanueva called the media to make plans in re-strengthening ZOE TV as a religious broadcaster, which would return to independence.
The new ZOE TV relaunched and began airing at 5 am of July 4, with Shuffle: Honoring God Through Music as its first program to air on digital channel 33, followed by Bro. Eddie Villanueva Classics and the initial telecast of morning news program ZOE Morning Balita.

Analog-to-digital conversion[]
On March 1, 2017, Light Network and ZTV became the first television network in the country to abandon analog transmissions and migrated to digital television.[3] The night before, network chief engineer Antonio Soriano permanently ceased Channel 33's analog signal, triggering the country's shift to all-digital television. The station then flash-cut the digital signal to the abandoned analog channel for post-transition operations. However, the arrangement had ended, when the management decided to reactivate its old flagship station, Channel 11 (currently as A2Z Channel 11), one year after GMA News TV left the frequency and moved to UHF 27.
In January 2022, the NTC approved a provisional authority for ZOE to utilize UHF channel 20 as its SFN channel. Upon activation of DTT channel 20 for DZOE, its second subchannel served as a backup relay for DZOZ-DTV in the Metro Manila area.
