2nd Avenue (formerly ETC 2nd Avenue) is a television network in the Philippines owned by Rajah Broadcasting Network and Solar Television Network, Inc. which also created its sister stations, Universal Channel, Solar News Channel, Diva Universal, ETC, Jack TV, Basketball TV, Solar Sports, The Game Channel and Jack CITY. It carries a schedule of mostly newer broadcast and cable dramas and sitcoms imported from the United States, along with infotainment programming from that country in the daytime hours. This station studios are located at Ventures I Bldg., Makati Ave. cor. Gen. Luna St., Makati City and Solar Media Center, Worldwide Corporate Center, Shaw Boulevard corner Epifanio de los Santos Avenue in Mandaluyong City and transmitters at Brgy. San Roque Purok 19, San Lorenzo Ruiz St., Antipolo City. 2nd Avenue operates on Free TV daily from 5:30 AM to 12:00 MN, while it operates on Cable TV 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

As of January 1, 2008, 2nd Avenue ceased to air over SkyCable. However, it is still available over UHF Channel 29 on RJTV (Channel 19 on SkyCable and Channel 29 on Destiny Cable). Dream Satellite TV had stopped airing the channel effective February 2009.[1] 2nd Avenue returned on Dream Satellte TV on channel 21 effective May 1, 2009 but removed on October 2011.

2nd Avenue is a general entertainment channel in the Philippines, owned by Solar Entertainment Corporation. ETC 2nd Avenue launched December 15, 2005 and started test broadcasts.

Move to free TV[]

On the first day of 2008, 2nd Avenue made its debut on RJTV 29 and selected cities nationwide. However at certain times of the week, RJTV pre-empts some 2nd Avenue shows to air its own shows.[2] A new on-air look and new shows has been announced by 2nd Avenue and will be done on March 21, 2008.
